Jon Kang is the Senior Vice President of Technical Marketing for Samsung Semiconductor, Inc.'s Memory Division. In this position, he is responsible for setting memory strategy and development directions. He has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 20 years and has designed in advanced products that have positioned Samsung as the leading memory supplier worldwide.

Mr. Kang joined Samsung Semiconductor as a technologist working on process integration in 1983 after receiving his electrical engineering degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has been involved in various key development projects during his long career at Samsung that have resulted in Samsung being the leader in memory technology.
